I was so glad to see Jake and Heather finally encounter each other.  They almost bungled up their reunion, though, didn’t they?  It’s good that they were able to work through why Jake hadn’t been there earlier. 


I also like this situation you have set up with Jake and Heather, namely him staying with her to help keep her safe.  That’ll give them the chance to really bond.  I’m worried about what all happened to Heather in New Bern.  The fact that she’s not able to talk about it doubly worrisome.


And surprise, surprise.  Emily has redeemed herself.  I was very amazed by the contents of her letter to Heather, essentially giving her blessing for Heather and Jake to move forward.  That was very good of her.  After the whole selfish debacle of her hiding Heather’s letter to Jake, I have to admit that I was expecting some nasty tirade.  Of course, that is probably my own dislike of Emily shining through.

Who'd have thunk it Hawkin's a Jake/Heather shipper, but I can see it happening that way.

Great story I hope she opens up soon the suspense is killing me.

I didn't really intend to write Hawkins as a 'matchmaker' but I am having alot of fun with it. I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. Heather will be opening up soon. You won't have to wait too much longer. Thanks for the review!
