This was so clever and funny!  I especially liked Constantino's.  I always thought that beard was meant for bigger and better things.

On a more lovey-dovey note, the Heather/Jake shipper in me likes that they needed each other.

Attempted a Surprise Reunion  With His Daughter The Day She Chose to Touch Up Her Roots  He Suffocated Amidst the Peroxide Fumes

This is my favorite one...I always did wonder how she went weeks and weeks without needing her roots touched up...Loved all of these.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Sid!

Would you believe that Emily's and Jonah's were some of the first epitaphs we came up with?  Some things are just too obvious -- and so in need of explanation -- I guess.  :-D

This was so funny. I couldn't stop laughing. I really enjoyed the parody. My laughs started with your choice of historians. I loved all the epitaphs, oddly appropriate for each of them. I do have to say my favorite one was the one for Chavez.

I have to say my favorite line is as it echoes my feelings:

"Only a few crackpots believe anyone of import survived until that date.  Conventional wisdom dates Jericho's end to sometime in June or July 2007."

Thanks for making me laugh today!

Author's Response:

:-D  I'm rather partial to Chavez's epitaph myself as I have to claim credit for more than half of the questionable rhyming epitaphs.  Once I got started, I just couldn't stop working in verse.

Thanks for reviewing!  We only wanted to give everyone a good laugh, so I think we did good.

Oh my goodness!  This was soooo hysterical.  I literally sat here hee-hawing out loud with tears running down my cheeks.  Scared my poor little puppy in the process, too!

This was *just* what I needed! I was trying to decide which epitaph was my favorite, and it's hard to choose, but I really liked Gray Anderson's two-sided stone.  Then again, the death by peroxide fumes of Jonah Prowse was wickedly funny as well.  And Vanilla Ice? LOL.

Loved the nod-nod-wink-wink of just who the historians were.

Thanks for the laughs, gals!

Author's Response:

Our apologies to your puppy, Sandra!  We're glad you enjoyed our little foray into insanity.  We couldn't pick just one epitaph for Gray, and really, how can we not be expected to comment on Emily's hair color?

My thanks to Penny for coming up with the initial list for my entertainment.  It all snowballed from there. :-D
